Photo Jewelry...

I have always wanted to offer photo jewelry to my clients and I have finally found the perfect vendor! :) I am offering beautiful photo necklaces for $35. The necklaces come in copper-, silver- and gold-plated cast pewter pendants. There are rectangle (hangs portrait style) and circle in all those colors. The rectangle is approx 7/8" wide by 1 1/4" high. The circle is a 7/8" diameter. You can choose from a ball chain that can be cut to any length for the silver pendants and also black, light tan and brown sueded cord, which can also be cut to any length. Please let me know if this is something you are interested in. You could choose a favorite image from your session and I will get the order started for you. It takes approx. 1-2 weeks from the time you order. Great for Christmas gifts, which is just right around the corner! See a couple samples below.

Family Ties...

Well, it's been a month! I think I'm become a monthly blogger! :) I just can't keep up with email, updating my website and blog, facebook, texting... too much technology! :) I have a love/hate relationship with it! And I think I already wrote about this last month.

Moving on... I had a great family session a couple weeks ago. The grandmother and grandfather were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary so we did some shots of them with their grandchildren, and then some fun ones of just the kids! Check it out!

I have a lot more to share... I've had about 2 sessions per week, which is a huge blessing considering the way the economy has been! Thank you to all of my wonderful clients! I absolutely love capturing these memories for you! More to come... SOON!

Baby Allie Lou was a gem! So sweet, and so easy to photograph!

Where has the time gone? It has been 2 months since my last post. WOW! We have been busy with end of the school year stuff, and now summer activities! We are having a blast and definitely staying busy! I think the older the kids get, the busier we get... and now that I'm on facebook, I don't really update my blog because I feel like people get updates on facebook. It's hard to keep up with all this technology... texting, emails, phone calls, Skyping :), facebook, blogs, websites... ahhh! I definitely have a love/hate relationship with it all. Oh well, for now I will share a few collages I put together of recent shoots I've done. Some senior portraits, maternity and newborn babies and some family sessions! Fun, Fun! Hope you are enjoying your summer! Life is good! :)

These guys were great! The kids are beautiful and were so well behaved. Little ones can be tricky and we had a few fussy moments, but you would never be able to tell. Great family!

Senior Portraits

Well, I have recently discovered that Senior Portraits is my new love! I had a session on Friday evening with beautiful Abby! She was awesome and we had the best shoot ever! I'm typically working with 2, 3, 4, 5 year old kids, which I absolutely LOVE, but I have to move fast and always expect the unexpected! With a teenager, it was great! We were able to shoot at 4 different locations here in Brentwood - the museum (which is an amazing old white house, with a big porch!), an orchard, downtown and then to the railroad tracks. She also had like 4 or 5 different outfits, which made it so fun, too, to have all those different looks! So thanks Abby, for a fabulous shoot! So glad you love your pictures! Here are a few of my favorites. If you know anyone that is graduating and needs to have senior portraits done, send them my way! Thanks! :)

Hope you all had a Happy Easter! I have a few pictures I'd love to share of my kiddos (and some other random shots I've taken recently - yes, this self portrait is kinda random, but I had fun playing!) Their Easter outfits were just too dang cute. I love the colors! My poor daughter, and my son, both have banged up faces. She had a fight with the sidewalk, and the sidewalk WON!!! He fell into the corner of the TV stand in our playroom and got a black eye. Good times. Never a dull moment, that is for sure! :)

This is my favorite tree on Vasco Road... I try to take a picture of it during each season. I know, weird... just a thing I do! :)

I am so excited! I just went to See Jane Run (awesome running store here in the Bay Area) and bought a new pair of running shoes. I signed up to run a 5K on May 30th (2 days after my 33rd birthday!) in Alameda, on the water, and I just needed some new shoes. Should be lots of fun! Theme of the race is "I Run For Chocolate & Champagne!" The company is down to earth, with women of all ages, all shapes and sizes, all levels of athletic ability. I'm super excited! One of my best friends, Kelley, has inspired me by her own running and it just seems like a great way to get in shape, stay in shape, release stress and have time for ME! So we'll see how it goes!

What else... I have the privilege of shooting at a 100th birthday party in Walnut Creek this weekend! Should be lots of fun! They would like to have some posed family pictures in the beginning and then just a bunch of candid shots. What a great gig... and how amazing to turn 100 years old! I'm excited to be a part of it!

I also have several other sessions coming up... a family of 8!!!, newborn baby, another newborn baby with her family, a beach session and a Senior Portrait session. I'm really looking forward to working with the senior. There are some awesome spots I have in mind for this girl, and I think I will get some great pics. I also just did a session out at Wente Winery and the pics turned out great. It was a generational photo session, which is always so much fun and the women were so great to be around!

Alright, that's it for now. Back to the grind... and it's homework time! Man, the homework they give to these Kindergarteners is CRAZY! Enjoy the beautiful spring weather! :)

Fresh Start...

Is it March? Did we really just have Daylight Savings? Where is the time going? Too fast, that's for sure! Well, I am finally sitting down and working on pictures and journaling and doing the best I can to preserve all these precious memories. Most of you know that our sweet little niece, Carmen Marie Galbraith, passed away almost a month ago. She fought a hard fight, but lost her battle to cancer and went home to be with the Lord! It has been a very sad and emotional time for our family. My brother in law said it best... we had perfect sun the day of her funeral. It was bright and warm, just like Carmen. And then the day after, the rain came. It was almost as though things were being washed clean and giving us a Fresh Start. So... here we are. Ready to move forward with peace in our hearts knowing that Carmen is no longer suffering, and will be in our hearts forever. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, and for all of your love and support. Our family is so blessed!

So... I haven't posted since before Christmas! I already said it, but man TIME FLIES! We had a wonderful Christmas and New Years and then my poor husband got really sick and spent a week in the hospital for a blood infection. Praise God he was okay and is doing great!

I have taken the past couple months off from work, which has been nice, but I'm ready to get back into the swing of things. I had a session with 5 month old baby Brynn back in February and we had a great time. Babies are just so sweet and oh so fun to photograph! I will attach a collage of proofs for you to see. I am back up and running starting April 1st. April is pretty much booked, so if you are interested in scheduling something, I am booking early May as of now.

My kiddos are doing great and keeping us busy! We are just about to start our 2 week spring break, which we are all looking forward to. No big trips planned, just some visits with friends, maybe a trip into San Franciso for the day, maybe the beach, too. We'll see! Oh, and a sleep over at Mimi and Papa's house. Yee Haa! :)

I hope this post finds all of you doing well! These past few months have really taught us how to keep things in perspective and to just be so thankful for all we have. A lot of people are experiencing really hard times right now with the economy being so crazy. Try to hold tight to those you love and remember, this too shall pass. A Bible verse that I love, and try to live by is, "I can do ALL THINGS through Him who gives me strength!" Phil. 4:13 So try to remember that. LIFE IS GOOD... GOD IS GOOD!!! :) Have a great rest of the week, and Happy Spring!

12 days until Christmas... can you believe it? I feel like I just took my tree down from LAST year... and here we are again... another year finished. I say this way too much, but time is going oh so fast. I wish I could bottle up some of my favorite things and save them forever... Addison's baby breath when she first wakes up, Mason's sweet little lisp when he's saying the "Pwedge of Awegiance" :) and Payton's imagination, her excitement for life and her love for God! As hectic and busy as life can get, I try so hard to stop and just take it all in every once in while... so I can tuck away those feelings and hopefully one day look back and remember how amazing it was when they were this little. 3 kids is a lot of work, but it's the best thing ever! I know this time is precious and I want to savor every single second. I am posting a copy of my Christmas card so you can see my pride and joy! :)

I also wanted to do a "professional" :) post and just thank all of my amazing clients for all of your business this year! I was downtown at City Park here in Brentwood this morning and when I passed the gazebo, I just stopped for a minute and thought, "wow, this is where it all started"... the site of my first photo shoot... or I should say "shoots" because that was the day that I did 8 sessions in a row. It was quite an experience and I remember feeling so high afterwards and thinking, this is what I was born to do! I've come so far in such a short amount of time and I truly feel so blessed! Still very surreal that I have my own business, and that people want ME to capture their families. What a gift! So thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this amazing journey so far!

I will be taking a break starting NOW :) and will be booking sessions for the end of March, beginning of April, with the exception of 2 shoots I have already scheduled for January. So if you are looking to book a session, please feel free to email me and we can set a date for end of March/early April. Also, be watching for a post about the Beach Sessions I will be hosting in the spring. More info to come...

Holiday Sessions!!!

I am so happy to say that I am officially done with my photo sessions for this season, and have just finished editing my last set of proofs. Well... now I will work on my own personal pictures. :) I still have orders to process and deliver, but that part is easy peezy! I LOVE what I do, soooo much, but it will be nice to take a little break and spend lots of quality time with my kiddos and my hubby... and all my other family and friends, too! :) Anyhow, just wanted to share some of my favorite images from my last few sessions.

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We all have so much to be thankful for. Our niece Carmen is hanging in there. Her mom and dad are praying like crazy and trying to figure out what type of treatment they want to move forward with. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. I'll keep you posted.

For now, enjoy every single day with your friends and families! This can be a stressful time of year, with all the shopping, and wrapping and get togethers, but try to stop and enjoy it and be grateful for all that you have! Life is GOOD!

On a personal note, this has been an amazing year for me. Busy... but amazing! God has blessed our family with a new baby girl... she will be 1 years old on January 25th - time flies! My oldest daughter has done so well in Kindergarten and is loving dance and Girl Scouts and my son is just loving preschool and can say the entire Pledge of Allegiance. They all keep us smiling! What a joy they are! Evan and I have had a great year together and couldn't be happier with our life! We are "living the dream" as our friend Chris loves to say! And my business... WOW! It has taken off and has been such a huge success. THANK YOU to all of my amazing clients... and THANK YOU for all your referrals!

I am just finishing reading a book called The Shack. It is a MUST READ! This book is truly amazing! Just had to share! :) Take a chance and read it. You won't regret it.

This is a collage of a very special baby girl named Savannah. I have been taking pictures of her beautiful family for the past 2 years now. She is their 4th child, and their first baby girl. She is currently at UCSF waiting to have heart surgery, so if you would please take a moment and say a special prayer for this baby girl, I would really appreciate it. This family has the most amazing faith in God and we know that it is all in His Hands. We Love You guys!

Take notice of the picture in the bottom right hand corner. Her mommy is going to put her in her wedding dress every year until she herself gets married. What a neat tradition! And so girly! I mean what do you expect after she's had 3 boys! She's tickled pink!

It's that time of year... FAMILY PHOTO time! Which means that I have been busy, busy, busy! Just thought I would share some of my favorites! I even got to travel to AZ and take pics of 2 of my best friends. It was such a treat! I love being able to use this talent that God has given me and help provide people with memories that will last forever! What a gift... for them, and for ME! :) This weekend I have 2 more sessions and will then be working hard to get everyone their cards and pictures for Christmas. I'm scheduling sessions in the Spring. Coming soon... photo shoots at the beach in San Francisco! :) I'm not a good blogger, but will post again before Christmas. :) Life is GOOD!!!

I had 2 amazing sessions in the past week, both with 2 year old twins! As a mom with 3 children of my own, I can truly appreciate a well behaved child when I see one. Of course you think "oh the terrible 2's... times 2!!!" No way, not in either of these cases. These twins were amazing! I am truly impressed with the parents and enjoyed both of the sessions very much. Not to mention the adorable pictures that I got! Yee Haw! :) Enjoy the collages I've attached!

I also have a couple pics to share from a recent maternity session that I did. She is expecting her first baby on Halloween (perfect time to hit the pumpkin patch!) and will not know if it's a boy or girl until the baby is born. This was also an amazing session, with a Mama to be that was willing to do some really fun stuff! Thanks J&S! Loved capturing you both and can't wait for our newborn session with your new pumpkin! :)

There is also a family picture from a session I had a few weeks ago. They were gorgeous and so easy to work with and just a great family! Thank you so much - I had a blast with all of you! And your children were so well behaved... and SO CUTE! You need to get them into modeling! :)

Last, but most definitely not least, I am attaching a picture of my baby girl, who is just about to turn 9 months. Where does the time go? She is VERY ACTIVE and keeps us laughing! She is trying her best to keep up with big sis and big brother. She was being silly and having a good ol' time in her high chair. Of course she doesn't really sit in the chair like that, I just stuck her in there real quick for a pic in her Halloween jammies.

I am really NOT a good blogger. I love to blog and I love to share, I just don't have the extra time these days. Oh well... I'm gonna do a quick post while my 3 year old entertains himself by sitting on the back of the couch, pretending it's a horse, saying "Giddy Up, Giddy Up!" :)

So... I have the COOLEST new collage templates!!! They are great to use on your blog so you can post favorite images from photo sessions, instead of posting all the images separately! The wonderfully talented Ms. Jodi Friedman created these. She is truly amazing and I just love all of the great stuff she creates to help her fellow photog's show off our work! Here are some fun pictures I wanted to share. The first 3 of my kiddos (my SON is OBSESSED with Thomas the Train... and that is his classic look that he's giving... too funny!), and the 2nd 3 are from recent sessions I've done. All of my clients are so great and I truly enjoy the time I spend with them , capturing their families and giving them memories that will last forever and ever! I have the best job on earth... Mommy and Photographer! What could be better! :)

I know, I'm not a very good blogger... sorry! I am finally sitting down to blog and have lots of fun stuff to share, and LOTS of pictures. :) First off, my little guy started preschool earlier this month and he's doing GREAT! He loves it! We also had a dedication at our church for our baby girl about 2 weeks ago. It was a very special day! I have been busy with photo sessions pretty much every Saturday, sometimes back to back. It's been great! I will share some pics from one that I did last weekend. Great family, and I got some beautiful shots!

I did my first boudoir session (ooh la la!), that's "boo-dwah" for those of you that don't speak French. :) It was so fun and very classy and tasteful! It's a perfect gift for your hubby, maybe for his birthday or Valentine's Day. It's quite the trend right now. To respect my clients privacy, I won't be including any shots of her personally, but I will attach one from a great site that I got some fun ideas from. If you are interested, call me and we can set something up. Again, it's very tasteful and classy, nothing crazy. :)

What else... we are busy busy busy! Adjusting to full time school is tiring! My oldest daughter is doing so great though and loving it! We are on a pretty good schedule now and somehow managing to balance Kindergarten, preschool, dance and Girl Scouts for her, gymnastics for him and I'm still able to stay on top of my work, which I am loving more and more! It's such a blessing to have something that is just mine. The kids are tucked in snug in their beds, and mom can come downstairs and get sucked into my land of photos! :)

Saturday Night Fever!!!

Just kidding about the Saturday Night Fever... it's just Saturday night and I was trying to think of something clever to write. :) I just finished editing all of the O Family proofs and had to share some more. I attached some in a post from a few days ago, but had to share some more. They are just a beautiful, and very photogenic family and I am so happy with how these turned out! Enjoy! Kindergarten

My baby girl started Kindergarten on Monday! I can't believe it! She will be 5 at the end of August and is just growing up so fast. Life is good, and oh so busy with 3 little ones in tow! My little guy just turned 3 and will be starting preschool next week... and my baby girl is 6 months! They are such a joy and keep me on my toes! :) Hope everyone is enjoying their summer... or what is left of it! LIFE IS GOOD! Until next time... I'll post in another 2 months... just kidding! We are really enjoying our summer and are just taking it easy the next 2 weeks. My oldest starts Kindergarten on July 28th. Time flies so fast! I will blog again later... we are in the middle of potty training this week. Good times. :)

Just had to share these beautiful pictures that I captured last week at a new favorite spot I discovered! This family is so wonderful and the children are so well behaved. I think the most well behaved kids I've ever had at a photo session. I was very impressed, K! How beautiful is her little girl. She better lock her in the house in a few years! :)

Lots of pictures... and "The Cake"...

What is "The Cake" you ask? Well, my dear friend is expecting her 2nd child. So a group of us had a special girls night out with pedicures and manicures and then a very fun dinner. And for dessert, we had this amazing, beautiful and DELICIOUS cake!!! If you live here in Brentwood, it's from a lady that owns TLCakes.com and her name is Tena! She's fabulous! Check out her site! I just loved this cake, thought it was just so cool and had to take a million pictures of it of course.

The next 2 pictures are of my adorable niece! Her mom (my sister in law) is a photographer, too, so she is used to posing for the camera. I got these new knit hats and used her as my model when she was here for a visit last weekend. She is too cute, and oh so stylish! :)

Then on to the beautiful images from my photo shoot with the twins. They are so precious and it was an amazing time for me, capturing these little guys. They were born about 6 weeks early and had a month long stay in the hospital. Once they were home, and settled, their mom and dad invited me into their home to capture them. What a special day it was! Thank you J&S! :)

And then I have some fun pictures that I took of my girlfriend and her little girl. Our babies are growing up so fast and we want to capture each and every stage. Can you believe the beautiful blue eyes? She is gonna be in trouble when her little girl grows up!

Well, that's about all I've got. This is a long post, with lots of pictures! Hope you enjoy them! I've been keeping busy with about 4-5 shoots per month and will actually be taking the rest of June and all of July OFF! My little girl starts Kindergarten at the end of July so I want to have time to just be with my kids and not have to do any work. :)

Silly Kids!!!

I just have to share this funny picture I took of my kids, poolside at Mimi's house (my mom!) We've been having great weather and have been having a blast in the pool. This picture was taken as an assignment for a photog class I'm in. The teacher really loved it (yeah!) and said he hoped the kids were "drinking responsibly." Too funny! The special drinks are courtesy of Uncle Shawn! Hope you all have a safe and fun Memorial Day weekend! We will be celebrating my 32nd birthday! :) At 32 years old, with a great husband, wonderful, healthy kids, an awesome God, amazing family and friends, I can say that... LIFE IS GOOD!!!

Fairy Tales & Tutu's...

Don't ask me why I titled this "Fairy Tales and Tutu's", just sounded fun! I had a great time capturing these beautiful girls this past weekend. How much do you love their red hair? So cute! The tutu's were hand made by a friend of mine that lives in Florida. Hi everyone - well, I'm officially gonna start work at the end of this month - I have quite a few sessions lined up so if you are wanting something in late April, or sometime in May, call or email me ASAP while I have a few spots left.

I went to an awesome photog workshop a few weeks ago. Sandy Puc was the instructor, an amazing photographer from Colorado. Check out her work at www.expressionsphotos.com. The seminar was titled Bellies & Babies and was very inspiring (I had a great time Heather and Emily - thanks for going with me!) I'm so excited to get back to work and start capturing all of your beautiful families!

Speaking of family, our baby girl is 10 weeks old and doing great! The kids are loving her and adjusting really well. We are also enjoying this beautiful weather - we've had lots of visits to the park! I've done several "photo shoots" with my kids - Payton LOVES my new pettiskirt. I wish they made it in my size. :) They turned out so cute! Daddy bought a new truck that he wants to restore, a '59 Chevy, so I will post some pictures of that, too. The one of Mason is too funny! Hope you are enjoying the Spring - I love this time of year!

Our Baby Girl is Here!!!

She's here!!! Our baby girl, Addison Leigh, arrived bright and early on Friday, January 25th. She is a wonderful baby and we are loving every minute with her. Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! We had a lot of fun, celebrating with family and friends... Well, I think I survived the holiday photog rush! Thank you to all of my wonderful clients for great photo shoots! I had a blast capturing you and your beautiful families! For those of you that might have missed out and wanted to schedule an appointment, I will be back up and running in late April '08. I am officially on maternity leave and taking a much needed rest. :) Here are some fun shots from my most recent sessions. I had a busy busy weekend with 4 photo shoots in a row. I got to visit my favorite place, The Secret Garden, and then my other favorite place, Baker Beach! We had a great time, and the families were wonderful! So... my hubby and I had a wonderful trip to Maui (the 1st pic is us on the beach... I'm sure you can see that I'm 6 months pregnant :)), I even got to do an awesome session with some of our dearest friends from Brentwood! Then, we came home and the X-mas sessions-photo shoot mayhem began! :) It's been wonderful though and all of the families that I have captured so far have been amazing! You guys are the best! Founded in October 2007 by Ohio Photographer, Tennille King, Think Pink Photography strives to help breast cancer survivors and their families celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Individuals may choose to document their fight against the disease before or during treatment, or prefer to capture their victory with a session after treatment is completed. Photographers world-wide are now available to donate time and talent to celebrate life and support the cause. There is no cost or obligation to the breast cancer patient.

Think Pink Photography is a non-profit organization. Any profits Think Pink Photography receives through donations or various fund raising efforts are donated to the Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation - a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and assistance to families that have been touched by breast cancer.

Clients participating in a Think Pink Session will receive a complimentary photo session, as well as 20 finished prints from the session. They will also receive a discount off of any additional portraits they wish to purchase, although there is absolutely no purchase required at any time.

Well, it's that wonderful time of year. The leaves start changing, the air gets crisp and all of the holiday fun begins!

Fall is Here...

Hi everyone - sorry I have been gone so long. I'm such a bad blogger! Bad Bridget! :) I have been so busy with various photo shoots and wanted to share some of the work I've done. I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful family this past Sunday afternoon in Pleasant Hill. They have 2 beautiful twins, a boy and a girl. Check out the picture of them in the basket! One of my favorites so far! There are lots of babies coming, too! I've done 3 maternity shoots in the past 3 weeks. So much fun! Being that I am pregnant myself, it's neat to see the growing bellies! Our family took a long weekend trip down to La Jolla and I had the perfect chance to take some great beach shots. Check out my Life is Good beach chair. Beautiful!
